Today's prompt is ....

..... 'Berry'. I'm just back from the garden, where I found this solitary holly berry, still clutching onto the branch from last year, amid the newly-set berries getting ready to ripen for this year.

Oh - and in case you're thinking that this isn't a holly tree because the leaves have no spiky bits ..... it's because the leaves on the higher branches seem to have mutated. The lower ones are still 'normal' though. Lol

Looks like we all love your single berry. I'm all for mutated leaves, can't rip you to shreds then. Even the dry leaves which escape into our garden from next door's tree are still jolly spiky when you tread on one barefoot.
