M.I.A.

Or, Missing In Action! No excuses, just tiredness and laziness in equal measures.

So, what's been happening in my life for the past few weeks? Well my wonderful daughter Jodie graduated from Aberdeen University, with an MA degree (1st Class Honours) in Religious Studies, specialising in Buddhism. She also won the University Prize for the best essay on the History of Religion. She has been accepted for her Master of Research Degree, which is in Himalayan Studies, but she'll have to wait to see if she gets funding before being able to accept.

Here she is, all happy and proud in her offical graduation photo!

What else? Tim and I were at a fancy dress dinner party at our friend's house. It was a Frankenstein / Dracula theme, so Tim was dressed as the creator of Frankenstein and I was the Bride of Frankenstein - a la Elsa Lanchester!

Sorry the quality of this one isn't very good - I took it myself with my phone!

Anyway, we had a lovely meal - cooked by the hostess - then we watched the old Bride of Frankenstein movie followed by the utterly hilarious Young Frankenstein, with Gene Wilder and Marty Feldman.

Here's one that someone else took:

He sent us a copy with very low resolution, so once again, sorry about the quality.

Yes, we are all mad - but it's great fun!! :)
