Crochet Stone

Here is my very first attempt at covering a stone with a crochet skin - and I have to admit to being quite pleased with it!

I collected some smooth stones from the gorgeous beach at New Aberdour when I was there earlier this week, with the intention of doing these crochet projects.
They are meant to mimic sea urchins or suchlike and can be used as ornaments or paperweights etc. I made up the design as I went along and will probably try to do the others slightly different to add interest.

Non-crafty people probably won't 'get' this at all!
