Swan-ning around

Today, I went for a nice leisurely walk around Strichen Community Park . It's been a few weeks since my last visit and I was keen to see the swans and cygnets again.


There were nine hatchlings but now, sadly, only five survive. However, they all look very healthy and happy!



There was much flapping of wings and splashing of water by some of the ducks!



But one was just content to be calm and serene!


I went for an amble through the woods too, but I will save those photograhs for another day.
